237 Stores/Brands is a subsidiary of SoftCom. The company has its headquarters in Toronto in Canada, and it is a specialist in shared web hosting. MyHosting provides web hosting, email hosting, and VPS solutions, as well as hosted Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Exchange Servers, DNS, and managed migration services. The company has won many awards and is a trusted Microsoft partner.

The web servers that are provided by MyHosting are housed in two different data centers – the Equinix center in Toronto and the Earthlink center in Rochester, NY. These are both high-end data centers that offer redundant fiber optic networks, the best in both physical security and network security, climate control fire suppression, backup power supplies and constant support and monitoring at any time of the day or night. Shared Hosting Plans

MyHosting offers “unlimited hosting” regarding storage space, bandwidth, and websites. However, you should read the fine print about this, and details of the various plans very carefully. There are significant restrictions on the amount of databases that can be used for each plan that would limit the number of dynamic websites you can host (i.e. WordPress). For the basic plan, you are only allowed three databases so that pretty much limits you to 3 sites. We have covered more of the differences and limitations of the various plans in the table below:

Windows Hosting

Their Windows hosting only comes in two plans. One based on Shared hosting at $9.95 per month, and the other based on a VPS platform (Hyper-V) at $34.95 per month for the first invoice.

The shared platform uses their custom control panel, but the VPS platform uses Plesk.

Also, their VPS platform appears to be using the more up to date software:

Shared Windows Hosting – Windows Server 2008, IIS 7, Microsoft SQL 2005

VPS Hosting – Windows Server 2008, R2 or 2012, ISS 7 or 7, Microsoft SQL 2008 or 2012

It is difficult to know whether this information on their site is up to date, but we are not sure that you would want to use their Shared Windows Hosting with the specifications that are advertised.

MyHosting offer support via Phone, Email, Post (if you don’t mind waiting a week for a reply), and Live chat. We have not explicitly tested their support responses, but there are a few grumblings about slow, non-existing support, but you will probably find the odd complaint about any host.

The fact that there are very few complaints around the web probably indicates that they do not have any significant issues, and we see this as a positive sign. We suggest out the user reviews below for further information.

Interestingly, MyHosting gives a 2-minute Phone response and 1-hour email response guarantee for all support requests. We like this, and faster than many other web hosts.

MyHosting Uptime/Downtime

As with our impressions of their support, they do not appear to have many complaints around the web that indicate they have a particular problem. Of course, there are a few issues, but we did find one review that provided proof of some pretty decent uptime of 151 days:

MyHosting offers a 100% Uptime Guarantee that offers a 1 to 1 credit in the case of disruption. This won’t give you much in the way of compensation and seems to be more of a marketing gimmick than anything else. That being said, most hosting providers don’t provide much in the way of compensation for their Uptime Guarantees. It is always better to go with a host that has a proven track record.

Money Back Guarantee / Cancellation Policy

MyHosting offers a 30-day money back guarantee. This should be entirely adequate to determine whether you like the hosting or not. The money back guarantee does not apply to any extras, such as domain registration fees or other third party costs. Also, if you have ever received a refund in the past from them or have been a customer within the past 90 days, you are not eligible for a refund. These are standard exclusions, but worth pointing out.

Final Thoughts

We haven’t tested this web host personally, so can only go on what we have read on their website and from our research around the web, so you may want to have this in mind when you view our rankings for this host. Certainly, our experience with this host is fairly limited, and therefore you may wish to consider Siteground, who are currently offering 60% off your first invoice.

That being said, we get the impression you can get more for less elsewhere, especially when you add in all the additional fees for the extras.

We are also not overly keen that they have chosen to use their custom control panel for shared hosting, rather than the cPanel \ Plesk options they offer with their VPS. With their pricing points, we would have thought they would have been willing to provide this.

From what we have seen on the web, they are quite popular due to their hosted Exchange solutions (email, messaging, contacts, calendars), but for the web hosting there are a few mentions of CPU abuse (sluggish response times) and slow support. That being said, the number of complaints are very limited, so we see that as a positive sign.

MyAutoLoan Review by Jonathan Henson.

This My Auto Loan review may be of some help for those of you looking into a quality auto loan company, whether you have good or bad credit.

You know, people get sick and tired of falling victim to many scams out there and oftentimes, it’s difficult to figure out whether or not a company is legitimate. Independent loan companies have been in business for years and they continue to offer great services. There are many online lenders who run legitimate and worthy businesses and today we are looking into one of the most successful companies out there to see what they have under their hood!

Contrary to what many people believe about online loan companies, not all Internet loan companies are “bad credit loan” services. This one certainly isn’t; it’s for people with any type of credit history and it specializes in getting you the lowest possible interest rate from a variety of lenders willing to offer the best deals on “Auto Finance“.

While conducting research on the services provided for this MyAutoLoan review, I found they have a very high A+ rating by Better Business Bureau (BBB) standards. This is highly unusual for an internet loan company and refreshing to see how legitimate companies such as this can be when they actually care about their customers.

The first thing I noticed in the My Auto Loan website is how it does not look like your average, every day, spammy website looking to collect your personal information so they can sell it to another company. It’s full of information you can actually use and it provides a few free tools which are essential to helping customers looking for loans such as the payment calculator which will assist you in quickly determining what your loan payments would be should you decide to purchase a loan.

The website itself is a secure, encrypted site so you don’t have anything to worry about when it comes to providing your personal information to start the loan process.

They don’t charge any fees to submit an online application and the form to start searching for a loan is very simple to use and should take less than 5 minutes to complete.

There is a minimum requiremMy Auto Loan offers a free, no obligation way to submit a car loan application.ent to apply for a loan at; you need at least $2,000 a month in gross income a month and the loan must be at least $7,500. This is the so-called standard requirements in this industry to minimize their risk and to ba able to offer more people their services.

Once you apply and press the submit button, you will get an almost instantaneous response telling you which offers you were approved for. Then, it’s a matter of selecting the loan you desire.

MyAutoLoan has great interest rates to offer and of course, this will depend on your credit score. At the time of this writing, a 61-72 month loan for a person with great credit would have a very low 1.95% interest rate. Still, many people are actually living paycheck to paycheck these days and their credit scores are somewhere in the 500’s, 600’s or low 700’s. This means you should expect a loan at a rate of anywhere between 3-5%, which is still pretty darn low!

In an Internet world full of scams and bad deals it’s nice to see how this company stays away from negative publicity. This MyAutoLoan review revealed the feedback in forums all over the Internet has been great for years and it’s obvious they take their customers seriously; their customer service has a well-earned reputation that is second to none in the industry and it’s hard to argue with thousands of satisfied customers. There is a reason why they have been in business and growing steadily since 2003.

Musician's Friend
Musician's Friend is a catalogue and website that sells musical equipment focused on rock band-oriented instruments like electric and electroacoustic guitars, basses, drum kit pieces and individual drums, vocal and amplification gear, mixers, electronics like drum machines and instrument processor "effect" pedals, and other essentials for guitarists such as plectrums, strings, straps and related accessories. Musician's Friend is one of the most respected catalogue sources for musical equipment.

Though the catalogue doesn't advertise much of it, the website also offers woodwind instruments, marching band equipment and orchestral string instruments. The company also offers a wide range of musical educational media and sheet music.

The website also offers a large collection of gear reviews, technical tips and educational information for free.

The company offers well-known brands such as Fender, Gretsch, Sabian, Yamaha, Casio, Mapex, Roland, Schechter, Rickenbacker, Dean, Epiphone, Mel Bay, Protools, Rogue, Ibanez, Martin, and Gibson.According to the company's website, Musician's Friend began as a discounted musical equipment catalogue in 1983, founded by Rob and DeAnna Eastman in southern California, selling guitar strings and other small gear. Now the company is owned by Guitar Center, also from southern California. Guitar Center gets heckled online as well as on the ground for murdering local instrument stores and being a corporate octopus, however, Musician's Friend has kept its good name as a source for quality equipment at a fair price, and often as the only convenient source for electronics, amplification and other equipment that many music stores can't afford to stock.
